Job Description

As part of its managed services offering, Present manages and operates the IT infrastructure of its customers. As this practice is growing significantly, Present wishes to hire the services of a technical writer for our support of new clients as well as our documentation.

The work will be 50% remote and 50% with customers, within a very dynamic technical support team. The role is to audit new customers and provide documentation for our technical team.

 

Nature of employment

  1. Customer support
  • Opening of the customer profile
  • Contact with customer
  • Collection of customer information
  • Documentation preparation
  • Collection of passwords
  • Audit of the customer environment
  • Agent deployment and AV
  • In collaboration with the VCIO and the NOC department

  • Validate the documentation we have
  • Update documentation
    1. Documentation of procedures (step by step)
    2. Organization of documentation
  • Validate the passwords we have
  • Update passwords

 

Required profile

  1. Operating knowledge of various components of a computer park, in particular;
    • Office 365 (Management, azure, intune, autopilot)
    • Networking (Fortinet Firewall, Sonicwall, Switchs, WIFI)
    • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Windows and Linux operating systems
    • Windows server management
    • Workstations (Windows / Mac)
  1. Excellent communicator
  2. Self-taught
  3. Resourcefulness and sense of initiative
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities
  5. High degree of autonomy, rigor and integrity
  6. Fluency in French and English
  7. Experience in a technical support role minimum one year
