Application support analyst


  • Respond to various incident and service requests for different ERP application and system
  • Provide rapid resolution to functional and technical incidents (level 1 and 2) and communicate with users
  • Debug incidents, report them and follow up with our application vendors
  • Participate in the various tests (unit, functional, acceptance, new versions installed, etc.) and validate the results and install into production
  • Analyse requests (bug, support, modification, enhancement, etc.)
  • Document customer needs (Queries), recommend solutions and manage the backlog by priority
  • Manage problems following recurring incidents
  • Evaluate and present the changes to be made to the Application Lead (technical and functional)
  • Regularly follow up with team members and monitor the progress of tasks
  • Write technical and functional documentation
  • Respect the norms, standards and internal IT processes
  • Provide functional and technical expertise (log analysis) to produce and promote quality and sustainable solutions
  • Define and maintain the application support guide



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL Server (complex query, stored procedure…)
  • Knowledge of Vantagepoint ERP, Dayforce and MS Dynamics is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Have a good sense of organization and be customer-oriented
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take on tasks both large and small
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Jira is an asset
  • Bilingual (French & English)
