Responsibilities:
- Respond to various incident and service requests for different ERP application and system
- Provide rapid resolution to functional and technical incidents (level 1 and 2) and communicate with users
- Debug incidents, report them and follow up with our application vendors
- Participate in the various tests (unit, functional, acceptance, new versions installed, etc.) and validate the results and install into production
- Analyse requests (bug, support, modification, enhancement, etc.)
- Document customer needs (Queries), recommend solutions and manage the backlog by priority
- Manage problems following recurring incidents
- Evaluate and present the changes to be made to the Application Lead (technical and functional)
- Regularly follow up with team members and monitor the progress of tasks
- Write technical and functional documentation
- Respect the norms, standards and internal IT processes
- Provide functional and technical expertise (log analysis) to produce and promote quality and sustainable solutions
- Define and maintain the application support guide
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server (complex query, stored procedure…)
- Knowledge of Vantagepoint ERP, Dayforce and MS Dynamics is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Have a good sense of organization and be customer-oriented
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take on tasks both large and small
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Jira is an asset
- Bilingual (French & English)
