The Selling eServer Solutions magazine dedicates
an article on Present in their March 2001
issue.
Spotlight on success: Présent Groupe
Informatique Inc.
Satisfaction client est la première
chose !
This Canadian Solution Provider understands
that in any language, excellence in customer
service can truly set you apart from the
competition.
Présent
Groupe Informatique Inc., a Premier
IBM Business Partner headquartered in Quebec,
Canada, recently received the prestigious
Thomas J. Watson Award from IBM. Considered
the highest level of recognition by IBM
to its business partner community, the award
was established in 1991 to recognize those
partners with a superior commitment to integrating
business excellence and customer satisfaction
into all aspects of their planning, operations
and processes.
The award can be issued on three levels
- Bronze, Silver, and Gold - with scores
calculated by a team of business experts
on 193 rigorous criteria. By earning 885
out of 1,000 points - the highest score
given to a first-time participant - Présent
becomes the first partner in Quebec to attain
Gold, and only the second to achieve the
status in Canada this year. In addition,
Présent currently has the highest
customer satisfaction rating of all 3,000
IBM Business Partners in North America.
According to Tom Burton, area director,
Avnet Hall-Mark IBM Business Unit -- Canada,
Présent has quickly emerged as a
player to be reckoned with. "We have
been very pleased to see Présent
develop as a top-notch IBM Business Partner.
It was only a matter of time before their
unequalled customer satisfaction and strong
commitment to building e-business capabilities
resulted in a Thomas J. Watson award,"
Burton added.
In addition to their Premier status with
IBM, Burton notes that Présent is
also a Lotus Business Partner and in fact
installed the very first IBM AS/400 Dedicated
Server for Domino (Yellow Box) in Canada.
The firm also specializes in e-commerce
solutions. In April 2000 they were one of
only six IBM Business Partners in the world
to be selected as a beta site for version
4.1 of WebSphere Commerce Suite (formely
Net.Commerce). When selecting beta sites,
says Burton, IBM looks for e-commerce expertise
and a high rate of technical certification.
